Some Jobs Need Two
Mounting an 85-inch TV, hanging a solid-core door, carrying a dresser upstairs or setting long deck joists is a two-person job. Scheduling them as one-person jobs leads to injuries or broken things.
Mark It on the Service
Note on the service or the job that it needs two people. When you build the day, those jobs go on a van that has a helper.
Helper Days
Many handyman companies schedule a helper for specific days and cluster the two-person work on those days. The rest of the week, the helper runs their own simple jobs or isn't scheduled.
Price for Two
Two people for two hours is four labor hours. Make sure the estimate reflects it. The job's logged hours will show it either way.
Time Clock
Each person clocks in on their own, so payroll is right even when two people work the same job.
